Activity Description
Receive a short 30-minute tour on your arrival at the museum of rural history and folk craft in the Arolithos Traditional Cretan Village.
Traditional Cretan cuisine is considered to be one of the healthiest in the world. At this cooking workshop in Heraklion, you will learn from the masters! You will watch your instructor create famous Cretan dishes and will have the opportunity to participate and assist the chef before putting your knowledge to practise and create your very own Greek dish.
You will prepare stuffed vine leaves (aka 'dolmadakia'), stuffed vegetables (aka 'gemista'), pork with wine sauce, lamb with green beans, traditional Cretan ntakos (dried rusk bread), the famous Greek tzatziki, delicious sarikopites and coiled cheese pies!
After cooking, you will enjoy the dishes you have prepared. Local wine and mineral water will be served.
By the end of this cooking class in Crete, all participants will receive a cooking certification document, authorized by your unique host.
